If your Escrow/Multisig order has already finalized, you may still contact the vendor or our staff, but we cannot guarantee a resolution for finalized orders.

Some vendors may be hesitant about disputes due to the concerns about the statistics. However, this is not an issue on Dark Matter Market. If you can resolve the matter without staff intervention, the dispute will not appear on either your or the vendor's profile page, meaning no negative consequences arise from raising a dispute.

4. Why did my order auto-finalize?

Unfortunately, some buyers fail to finalize their orders after receiving them, but vendors need to receive their payments. Each order has a timer that leads to automatic finalization: digital orders finalize after 2 days, while physical orders finalize after 14 days.

Once an order is finalized, the vendor is paid, and the market cannot issue a refund. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that your order is not finalized until you have received and verified your product.

5. How do I pay with BTC/XMR?

We have integrated a third-party crypto exchange service API, enabling buyers to receive a Bitcoin (BTC) payment address when opting to pay with Bitcoin. The buyer sends BTC to this address, which is then converted to Monero (XMR) and transferred to our escrow wallet for that order. Once the XMR is received, we proceed with processing your order.

Is this secure? While Monero is the most secure option, we have not implemented an authentication process, meaning your Bitcoin address will not be associated with us in the event of blockchain analysis.

Can you guarantee the safety of my funds? Unfortunately, we cannot. We merely provide a convenient method for exchanging your Bitcoin or Monero through a third-party service. If that service acts dishonestly, your funds could be at risk. To minimize potential losses, we have established a maximum limit for each transaction. We can only assure the safety of Monero, as it is securely managed within our escrow wallets.
